In my teaching I make sure that my students never feel overwhelmed or confused by the material.  I give them reasonable assignments based on their skill level and make sure to give them reasons for everything they are doing.  I always try to help my students achieve little accomplishments in every lesson. I learned very quickly just how much experience I already had gathered to provide insight to people who were just a few years behind me in skill level.
