After college, I had the opportunity to teach drums at Southwestern for 2 years as a adjunct faculty member. I then went on to teach at Fort Worth Christian School for 5 years and worked with all their students including their drum line. Later we get into reading and writing drum notes. Then we explore different genres, and styles of playing. Drumming is so much fun, so lets not get right into the rudiments and technique RIGHT away!
