I was a music education major at Roosevelt Univ. and have personal experience teaching all ages from grammar school to entry level college students.I have taught in private studios and traveled to students' homes. I teach various instruments from beginners to various levels of accomplishment and when a student has that bright light moment when something clicks, it's truly a pleasure moment. Lessons are planned and taught around both fundamentals and technique, as well as material surrounding the students preferred musical styles, goals they want to reach, and music they are working on in groups outside of our private lessons.
