The experience I have teaching goes back to my time at the University of Colorado Denver, I enrolled in an Afro-Cuban hand percussion class, and in a music pedagogy(teaching) course. The music pedagogy course taught me numerous teaching philosophies and required me to teach lessons regularly with a student.
