After studying jazz performance at the University of New Orleans under the tutelage of jazz icon Ellis Marsalis, I attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston being awarded the Best Entering Student Talent scholarship in '02 and the Berklee Achievement-based Scholarship in '02, '03 and '04 graduating with honors in 2005 with a Major in Bass Performance.
