 Shows I have recently performed includes Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat and Gypsy. Whilst in London, I spent my last two years working with young people of various ages. I worked alongside passionate colleagues to present group musical workshops that may have focused on sound, percussion, composition or with full ensembles. Some of these workshops lasted a day while others lasted a few months. I was also asked by the Royal College of Music Junior Department, who worked with talented musicians aged below 19 or pre-college, to assist in teaching flute students as well as small ensembles. For all of my students, regardless of level, playing together in lessons is a big part of my teaching method. Playing together in lessons fosters intonation, musical commutation skills and sound blending. For beginning students, I work a lot on sound production and tonguing through progressive etudes and duets. I incorporate performance environments early into my curriculum. For older students, I explore fundamentals through advanced etudes and work on solo repertoire, chamber music and orchestral excerpts. Read More

I began playing cello in elementary school and started teaching cello lessons while I was in middle school. I love to teach and share music with my students. I graduated Manhattan School of Music in 1977  and proceeded to get my Masters degree and teaching certificate.
