Over the past decade I have performed with world-renowned performers and conductors all over the world. I have performed recital, chamber, concerto, and orchestral repertoire. At Indiana University I performed solo recitals, concertos, chamber music, and in orchestra. My teaching experience goes back to my college days, when I volunteered at the Artists Collective in Hartford, CT as a saxophone instructor. I began teaching saxophone and clarinet lessons in my home, and music studios after I graduated from college. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I have also taught Instrumental Music in Schools. However, I will typically move students through the method book quickly and get right into performance repertoire that is appropriate for their age and level. Composing your own pieces and learning to improvise are extremely important in my method of teaching so I will also start teaching students how to write their own music as soon as possible.
