I began teaching in Mississippi in 2011 to college students at the University of Southern Mississippi. After moving to Cincinnati, I began teaching preschool music. I began developing a preschool curriculum at the University of Cincinnati's Preparatory Program that combined reading, dancing, singing and imagining. After teaching privately for a year, I began my position as Executive Director of the Cincinnati Outreach (COR) Music Project. To me as a musician, teaching is as important and as necessary to our art as performing, and it is always a joy to share that art with students. I graduated from Kent State University in 2015 with my Bachelor of Science in Music Education, followed by a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance in 2019, and recently completed an Artist Diploma from UC-CCM.
