Piano students will begin learning to read basic music notation, and then begin the piano adventures book as well as "The Complete Book of Scales, Chords, Arpeggios, and Cadences". Once 2 method books have been completed, simple repertoire from Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart will be introduced to the student in order to expand their knowledge into the wonderful world of classical music that we know. I was an educator in the Seneca Falls Central Schools for 38 years where I first became an instrumental music teacher. I taught woodwind lessons grades 5-12 and conducted elementary and middle school bands. I coached high school woodwind groups and was assistant marching band director, as well as woodwind adjudicator for the NY State School Music Association.
