My emphasis is on performance and motivating the student. I set goals for performance at the early stages of study whether it's for family and friends or at an open mic or in church. Without performance as a goal it's hard to motivate the student to practice. I analyze each student's individual learning style whether it's visual or auditory and find ways to help them learn faster and securely. It is really important to have the fundamentals down in order to have a strong base to grow from and add musicality and stylization. For more advanced students I again like to meet you where you are and incorporate some of the techniques that I have that will help you grow to the next level and give you the ability to perform any kind of genre and style of music because you have strong core techniques.
