When students have successfully completed the Suzuki books, I will introduce them to pieces that would be suitable for a recital performance. For adults, I will base instruction off of Suzuki but also find material that will keep the learning process fun and enjoyable. Always start where the student is, and take them from there. Always encourage and inspire students to be better than yesterday. Progress, no matter the amount, is progress. Take your own pace. If you have a specific deadline, for example a college audition, you will have to commit to practicing more than usual and we will create a plan of action. Also, I do write letters of recommendation. Teaching for 12 years and playing for 18 years has really inspired me to cater to every age, and the student’s personal goals and their particular culture as there are no limitations to my style. I have experience creating music programs for church ministries, learning centers, music academies and more.
