Last year, one of my 2nd Grade Chicago Public School Band students performed the National Anthem for memory on the Alto Saxophone in front of 1000's of people at a race. One of my 1st Grade Violin Students impressed the president of Columbia College of Music so much that my students were offered life-time scholarships to attend Blues Kid's Camp, held annually at Columbia College in Chicago. I was a teacher from some programs with the State of Guatemala in the country side and the capital city, and a member of the string quartet "Ad-libitum". My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. I have taught several students while I was studying music. I won the third place of the Taipei City Competition of Music among many outstanding competitors in 2015. On the other hand, I strived for the chance of participating in many performances. In 2014, I performed Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 with the local orchestra in Hualien. In 2017, I played Prokofiev’s Sinfonia-Concertante, Op.125 at my recital at Soochow University, which was praised by my teachers and the audiences. Read More
