For beginning students I make sure we know every warm up exercise and stretching exercises for the fingers after explaining the importance of rehearsing properly. We will start getting familiarized with a couple circles until the student fluently knows how to accompany every chord. After we are going to learn scales so they also familiarized with licks and comp. The key to mastering any instrument is consistency. I believe it's important to get to know each students interest and goals in order to create a customized plan. For beginners, I like Essential Elements 2000, Faber Method, Suzuki solo books, and easy pop music books. After they acquired the basic & fundamental Knowledge and skills in an entertaining way then I move on to teach them the first lesson of the Melbay method the student learns the first note on the first three strings of the guitar.
