I also love to incorporate creativity in my lessons with songwriting and improvisation. I also encourage students to participate in recitals as well. I try to pick a song or finger exercises for them each lesson as well as a few exercises where they can develop their reading skills. From there, I took up residence at a local music store where I taught guitar, ukulele, bass, harmonica, songwriting, and music theory for the next fifteen years.
