For children and adults alike, I teach from the Ed Friedland Bass Method Book 1. It was actually the book that I started out on and Friedland is a well done studio and live bassist. He is just as amazing on bass guitar as he is on double bass. Once the student has progressed from that book then I move on to sight seeing with the student.
