I have been teaching guitar, electric bass, and woodwinds for over 30 years.  I have a Bachelor of Arts from Northeastern Illinois University.  I have performed all over the Chicago area in a variety of Rock, Americana, Country, Folk, Blues, and Celtic ensembles.  I write original songs and compose music for dance and film. Watching a student successfully progress through lesson form is an unparallel feeling that inspires and guides me to continue. I have given lessons to age groups ranging from 9 years old to 70+ and feel that it's important to first identify where the student is at and how to build on what they already know.
