Each of my students learns to read music, practices sight singing, and learns solfege. In my opinion, these are the neccessary fundamentals to being a great singer AND musician! My Teaching Style can be summarised in one sentence - "Progress over Perfection." I believe that the journey is just as important and enjoyable as the destination itself and every student has their own journey and their own destination. My goal as a Voice Teacher is to guide and keep them on track in attaining their musical goals and to aid in whatever way possible. A student's satisfaction, the joy of learning, health (not just vocal health but also psychological) holds the highest importance to me as a Teacher. Read More

For children, I like to use music they're already familiar with so I can gauge what elements of music they're strong in, as well as what we can work on in our lessons. Using games, flash-cards, and charts work best to teach singing concepts to children in an engaging, organic way. For young/adults, the learner-center approach comes into play more, as I can have more balanced dialogues that guide my instruction accordingly. Read More

First, there must be a goal for each student, during the first lessons we discuss about it. My task is to plan and implement this. Over the years of my experience in singing, I have learned to be a psychologist; for each student I can find an individual approach, look into the soul and see the potential. Every student should understand that vocal training requires physical and mental activity, so classes require a full concentration. Read More
