Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Since then, recent highlights include solo concerts at LSU, Montgomery County Community College, The Free Library of Philadelphia, and chamber music recitals at the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, University of Delaware, and Nicholls State University. In addition to private studio teaching, my other teaching credits include graduate-instructor and teaching assistant at LSU School of Music and faculty positions at Volidera Musica, Ambler Music Academy, and Kids’ Orchestra. I studied viola with Victoria Voronyansky privately and later at Temple University Boyer College of Music and Dance when I was offered a scholarship for undergraduate studies; he was subsequently further mentored by Elias Goldstein for his graduate studies. I began student teaching in the late 90’s when I was in high school. I continued to teach on the weekends throughout college and graduate school at Joyful Sounds School of Music. While studying String Pedagogy at Temple University, I taught for the Community Music Scholars Program, a program in conjunction with the Philadelphia public schools allowing low income students to have private lessons at a reduced rate. My teaching experience goes back to my high school days, as I began teaching privately 7 years ago, and have consistently taught in my home studio for the last several years. Encouraging regular practice, as well as focused practice, are some of the key points I like to emphasize for all of my students. Practicing correctly, as well as consistently, motivates students as they see their exponential progress. Everyone comes at music from a different angle, therefore I approach teaching each student from a different angle. One of the most important things to me is to teach the student how to use their head before they try to produce a sound. Learning an instrument can be very fun and extremely satisfying, but it takes more work than most people expect. Ive been in choirs (from community to All-State) since I was born, literally - my mom was the church choir director, and I followed suit, assisting her and student-directing my high school choir. I started piano lessons in 4th grade and used it to compose my own music and play in churches since then. I began studying violin in kindergarten via the Suzuki Method and played in the Trevecca Symphony Orchestra in Nashville, TN from 2007-2018. Read More
