So I will always push you further than you thought you could go- but through inspiration and encouragement (along with practical direction to help you get there!!) Every student has an experience unique to themselves. I am strict about meeting the goals developed by each student. However, the learning process is highly individual. You will learn at a pace and with a curriculum we develop to best suit your learning style, musical preference, and goals. Based on these goals, I will figure out the best method of incorporating theory, technique, and improvisation. I like to work on a piece of repertoire and tell we have perfected whatever the main goal of the piece is. Read More

I choose the books according to my assessment of the student during the introductory lesson. The Faber Method is one of the more popular ones. I also use the Alfred All-in-One books series. As supplemental material, I use Keynote Speller by Shaum and Line a Day by Keith Snell. For solo repertoire, I select methods based on the skills and favorite pieces of each student. Recently, there have been published and won the love of millions of teachers and students around the world, 2-books "Tales of Musical Journey" by Irina Gorin, for beginners. Read More

I use art songs that will guide singers through these areas of their voices, and will often allow the singer to bring in material of their own choosing within reason. At any age I put a large focus on how to practice outside of lessons. Lessons are for learning new vocal exercises and exploring new facets of the voice in a safe space. Outside of lessons are where substantial growth occurs. Read More

I am an instructor who tailors lessons based on the student's desires. Having been a performer since I was 13 years old, I work as a musical coach. My performing experience varies from pop, rock, country, jazz, hard rock, contemporary Christian and classical. I am a classically trained pianist and vocalist. Currently I play in a trio that performs regularly at nursing homes. I love bringing joy to the elderly by playing their favorite sing alongs as well as teaching them current music. Read More

My final goal is how to enjoy singing. In my opinion, the most important thing is that singing should be comfortable to both a singer and an audience. For this reason, I generally help them to sing comfortably. Most of the students have a common problem to sing. I would say it is artificial voice which makes their voice tired and injured. When I taught students some of them struggled with development about their voice quality. Read More
