I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2011, I graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Bachelor of Music degree in Trumpet Performance/Music Education. Having both degrees has enhanced my teaching studio for I can give the best of both cases to my students either going for education or performance. I have a studio where I students can be recorded during lessons to enhance their own learning abilities.

If singing is your passion, you need adult voice lessons. Trained and experienced instructors come to your home or invite you into their studio for regular lessons. Learn how to project your voice, control your breathing, and improve your range. You can also prepare for reality singing competitions like X-Factor and The Voice. We teach you how to choose songs that match your tone and range, and we can train you to sing any genre or style. No matter why you want to sing, improve your natural vocal talent and enjoy your passion when you take adult voice lessons.
Age 11 or 12 is the best time to begin voice lessons when they are emotionally and physically mature enough to begin to learn various vocal techniques. Starting voice lessons younger than age 12 can be very demanding on an untrained voice and can cause damage if the student is not vocally ready. Students that have studied another instrument prior to beginning voice lessons are at a distinct advantage, because they will know how to read music and will be able to apply their previous years of experience to their new instrument.
In home voice lessons are a convenient way to learn the art of singing! The instructors in our network are qualified to teach a variety of styles ranging from Opera to R&B. If you are interested in auditioning for local competitions or even reality TV shows like American Idol or The Voice, the instructors in our network can definitely help you prepare. Most voice lesson music and materials can be purchased online or at a local music store.
The teachers in our network create a customized lesson plan for every student, so no two students' lesson plans will be identical. Topics covered during Musika's voice lessons may include, but are not limited to: proper breath control technique, how to support your voice, how to read music, how to interpret various styles of singing (classical, jazz, pop, etc.), performance tips and techniques, how to overcome stage fright, and most importantly, learning to enjoy music and express yourself through singing!
Your body and voice are interconnected. If your body is healthy, your voice will be too. That's why you need to eat a balanced diet, exercise daily, get enough sleep, and rest your voice. When choosing food, pick whole grains, fresh produce, and lean protein. Drink water instead of soda, caffeine, or alcohol. Every day, perform aerobic exercise. Swimming, running and biking improve your overall fitness and strengthen your body. Maintain an adequate sleep schedule. A regular bedtime can help you get enough sleep. Then rest your voice. You can't yell, scream, or sing throughout the day and enjoy a healthy voice. With these tips, both your body and your voice stay healthy.

I am a beginning guitar player that has now taken five lessons with Jeff. I cannot speak highly enough of Jeff has a guitar teacher! I have learned more in five lessons than the months I spent trying to learn on my own. Jeff has introduced me to music apps that I can use during my practice sessions, followed up our lessons with comments and/or music, is very encouraging - yet holds high standards. During my lessons I feel that Jeff is very observant and tuned in to your positioning when playing - whether it be your wrist, your arm, or your fingers. He always offers recommendations on ways to try to fix something that I might be struggling with. He really pays attention. As an aside, Jeff is a very talented songwriter and musician. Check him out on YouTube. His songs are very beautiful and inspirational. I'm honored to be his student! - Linda

After my first piano lesson, Polina is easily the best teacher I could have hoped for. Extremely charismatic and excited to help YOU learn the piano. She puts a lot of effort into evaluation your learning style and will no doubt help you make tremendous strides! I'm stoked to continue taking lessons!

My daughter really enjoys her lessons with Pavel. She is an absolute beginner and Pavel is right with her as she learns the basics. She is completely engaged and always looks forward to her lesson. He packs a lot of learning into their 30 minute time slot - he gets right to it as soon as he walks in the door! He is a great teacher - we highly recommend!

She is amazing! My daughter, Isabella (7 yrs) is totally engaged in the lesson. Lilly's definitely has a gift with teaching young children!!! A great talent of hers is making the content interesting, current to today's music and most of all fun! She has a knack for taking the material and translating it in a way that is relatable to Isabella. My daughter really enjoys her lesson's and has moved along rather quickly with the material. Thanks Lilly!

Travis rocks. My 7-year-old son and I both take lessons with him. Travis has moved me off the plateau I was on with lessons that focus on theory and technique. And for my son, he's been able to instill a desire and interest that were missing when he previously took piano lessons. With Travis teaching us, the limits are the ones we impose on ourselves. Needless to say, Travis himself plays a mean guitar to boot!

Martina has been teaching our daughter violin since early 2015. Every time our daughter has a lesson she comes away in such a great mood - she really enjoys her lessons! Martina is positive and encouraging and adjusts her teaching to help our daughter learn the best way for her learning needs. We were curious about how online lessons would work, and it turns out that they work really well. The 1:1 time and ability to teach from a distance make it work just as well as in person. We've had moves and schedule changes and Martina has been very flexible for us - which made such a big difference in making violin lessons accessible. Absolutely recommend her!

Steve gets you started right away with songs but also goes into music theory and reading music which adds to understanding and appreciation of the music. He is very approachable and you can tell that he absolutely loves music and teaching. It is hard not to be excited about the process of learning with Steve. If you are considering lessons I highly recommend Steve for any level of student.

I've been taking lessons from Michael once a week for eight weeks now, and with his help I have made dramatic improvements with my sax. Michael is a funny, nice, patient and all around great instructor. I'd recommend Michael, as an instructor, to anyone who wants to improve their skills and have fun while doing it.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons through her school district program for the last two years. She had learned a lot in that class but I noticed that she needed advanced classes at this point. After reviewing several websites I decided to enroll my daughter for the trial at MUSIKA. We got Mrs. Veronica B., and I am more than happy we got her as my daughter's teacher. Mrs. Veronica B. was very professional and very knowledgeable at the trial day. She was able to assess my daughter skill's level, and then she was able to give suggestions about how to improve those skills. My daughter has taken 5 classes with Mrs. Barker, and I can see she enjoys each class and she's improved a lot since day one. I can picture my daughter playing her favorites songs on the piano very soon!!! :-)
Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.Ok
Are you sure that's your only availability? The more availability you easier it will be to arrange a teacher for you.
