My goal is to create a comfortable yet challenging learning environment in which every student is successful. My teaching style is enthusiastic and caring. I am a passionate and excited violin instructor with extensive experience teaching children of all ages and skill levels. I have been studying and performing the violin for over 20 years. In 2015, I earned a degree in violin performance from UC San Diego where I performed in the La Jolla Symphony and part of the UC San Diego Chamber Ensembles. Currently, I am a medical student at Georgetown University and play freelance violin throughout the Washington D.C. area and enjoy teaching my violin students. Read More

As I have taught for many years, I feel encouraged and motivated when I can pass along my love for music. Nothing is more inspiring to me than to see someone's face light up when they pick up their instrument and learn. I set tailored goals for my students to reach every week, so that they have specific targets to reach. Positive reinforcement is the key to keeping a motivated student, and I encourage them in anyway possible making myself available to them throughout the week even after the lesson is over.  Read More

I have privately taught students from ages five to 56. Since I recently came out of college, I have about one year of experience teaching students part time. I also have experience teaching groups of elementary school students the violin. I encourage students to practice a certain number of hours every day according to his or her playing level. My students are encouraged to enter recitals and competitions so they can feel more accomplished and motivated to learn. Read More

Having started playing violin at the age of 5, sharing my love of music has been an enormous part of my life. I originally come from Serbia, where I obtained my BM in Violin Performance at The University of Belgrade.  I continued my graduate studies in Toronto, Canada, where I finished an Artist Diploma program at The Royal Conservatory of Music.  In 2013 I graduated in Masters of Music at The Catholic University of America, in Washington DC. Currently, I teach at at an elementary school in Palm Beach County. (Florida Public Schools) I am teaching ages k-5 general music, chorus, and band. The instruments I teach weekly include trumpets, violins, flutes, keyboards, piano, guitar, and bass. When I student taught high school teachers at the Boston Latin School, (Boston Public Schools) I taught chorus, string ensembles, AP music theory and all ensemble instruments in every family.
