I like to have a consistent plan for all of my lessons, so that students know what to expect, as well as the best methods for practicing. I always start my students off with a warm-up consisting of scales or a technical exercise that relates to the piece that we are working on. I chose violin, studied at the South End Music Center, and relied on my time with violin as a constant in an otherwise turbulent young life. I also have a duel Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College in Violin Performance and Music Education.
