I am passionate about teaching as well as performing. My night job includes performing as a classical pianist at Cavey's Italian Restaurant in Manchester, CT on Saturday nights every other month. I have been teaching for more than 30 years, mostly in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools. Olivia Van Mater (most know as Olivia Moaddel) currently works as the Assistant Director of the Bard Conservatory Preparatory Division.
