I am open to teaching students of all ages and musical backgrounds. The structure of my lessons varies and is catered to the needs of the student, but most contain elements of the following: warm up, ear-training, singing, rhythm development, proper technique, review of etude and solo repertoire, duets, and assignments for at home practice. Most students study with method books assigned by myself, and generate supplemental materials as we progress. My students are required to carry a notebook to all lessons to keep track of practice assignments and major points covered in the lesson. My students are expected to practice regularly and work hard during lessons, but the main goals are to have fun and make musical moments.

For beginning students, I start out with the Standard of Excellence Band Method book to learn intrumental basics along with basic music theory. Once the student is comfortable enough on the basics, he or she will be introduced to solo repertoire. For more developed students, work will be taken directly from Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet.

Lessons are catered to the student. I have studied with pedagogical masters and I have learned how to make creativity maps. Most of your questions are simple answers for me, and most of my students experience rapid growth from the very beginning.

Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
