Practice doesn't make perfect; PERFECT practice makes perfect! The best way to develop a skill is to work consistently and carefully, which is why I encourage all of my students not just to practice until they get it right, but to practice until they can't get it wrong. That being said, students must work at their own pace for this method to be effective. I love watching my students grow. I believe in making my students think to get the answers they are looking for. I am not a fan of "rote learning" so my lessons tend to include a large amount of cognitive thinking by me constantly asking questions and making you pay attention to your own playing habits.
