I have been a student of local Philadelphia musicians like Eric Apelt, Al Rochlin and Bill Whitaker. I have been playing trumpet since the fifth grade, with three years of piano prior to that. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Instrumental Music Education, K-12, with minors in Jazz and Performance. I love music, whether it be playing it or teaching it, and it's what I see myself doing for the rest of my life. We will extensively on flexibility and scales through out all stages of development as well as intonation on the instrument. I have been singing and playing music all my life, but my instrumental music career began in 1994 when I was handed my first Baritone Horn.
