For beginner trumpeters, I typically start with Hal Leonards Essential Elements and then slowly transition into solo repertoire that suits their skill set as they make it into the intermediate level. As advanced players, we will focus on refining skills with drill books as well as work on standards in solo repertoire. I am an overly passionate musician that enjoys writing, listening, and analyzing music just as much as playing it. I enjoy sharing that passion with as many people as possible, and teaching it to whoever will listen. I began playing trumpet 15 years ago and writing music 12 years ago.
