I'm a very passionate and invested artist that really enjoys watching his students grow and helping them achieve their goals. I just graduated from Temple University with my masters degree in Jazz Studies, but am versed in many styles of playing and composing. As a freelance trumpeter, I have played at venues all over the U.S. and multiple countries in Europe. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. For more advanced students, we will be using the Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trumpet in addition to solo repertoire other supplementary materials. For students in second or third grade who are interested in playing a wind instrument, but are not quite big enough yet, I offer recorder lessons. Learning the recorder is an excellent introduction to playing a wind instrument. We will focus on music fundamentals like notation reading but also breath support, articulation, and proper fingering techniques. Read More
