I am also generally happy to hear whatever a student wants to bring in if they have suggestions of their own. For young beginners, I make use the method book that is being used at their school as well as supplying materials specifically for their instrument. As the student progresses, he/she will be introduced to solo repertoire as well advance method books for recital and competitive purposes.
