While I am new to taking on private students of my own, I have had many opprtunities to teach groups and individuals in their studies. In high school I often volunteered with elementary and middle school students to work on band repetoire and fundamentals that would benefit them in their classes. As a starting musician, I personally would go with the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements 2000. Voxman or Jazz Conception by Jim Snidero. In addition to learning from etudes, students will develop their solo repertoire. Read More
