I also think it’s really important to set realistic goals, because acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a student’s desire to progress. I am a multi-faceted professional musician and can be found performing all over New York City and other parts of the country. For the last ten years I have had experience teaching young beginners, high school students, college music majors and secondary non-majors, as well as adult amateurs. Professionally, I am a classical music singer, and I also perform on modern and historical oboes, as well as recorders. The piano was my very first instrument, which I studied for ten years performing and competing before I decided to focus on singing and playing the oboe. Read More
