I have been teaching music for 15 years, during this time I have been able to understand the diversity of paste in which we all learn. My purpose is to inspired and challenge my students so that they can find their own voice and style, during my classes we find out what the best way to achieve our goals is by working hard, having fun and creating a musical relationship. My lessons will focus on the fundamentals of singing in order to provide healthy vocal technique and a beautiful tone. It is extremely important in all genres for singing to have support, be able to use breath properly and have an understanding how of use the voice as an instrument properly to acheive a beautiful tone. My journey with teaching Voice was ironically during school! I had been in Choir since the second grade. Since then I worked hard to strengthening my instrument. I became section leader for Soprano section. That job required me to perfect each individuals tone so that we blended well as a choir. I began tutoring voice major on repertoire and harmonics. Stefanie made her international operatic debut last season as Adina in LElisir dAmore with Musica Viva Hong Kong. This spring, she premiered a role in each of Bruce Saylors world premiere one-act operas, My Kinsman, Major Molineux The Image Maker. An avid linguist, Stefanie has studied languages and performed recitals in Italy, Germany and Austria, and was chosen as the first-ever recipient of the National Italian American Foundations Andrea Bocelli Music Scholarship.
