I began a love of teaching when I was given a huge responsibility to design, develop, and integrate a curriculum with a school of 700 students ages 5-12 years. In this ongoing program of enrichment, I was a co-teacher with a staff of 30 instructors whereas I worked with and created diversity for a multicultural group of multi-tiered learners. I am a devoted and caring instructor who wants to share my love of music through teaching. I graduated in 2016 from Sweet Briar College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. In 2017, I graduated with my MAT from Sweet Briar College and am certified to teach Vocal-Choral and General Music Prek-12th grade. I am an award winning vocalist and performer with a Bachelor's in Music. I am a former Hurrah Player, Governor's School for the Arts student, and VA Opera artist. As well as being a live professional opera, musical theater, religious/spiritual, jazz artist, I am also a pop/rock recording artist and local stage and film actress.
