For beginner students or children, I typically start with bastien piano basic books and work our way through the books and fundamentals of music. Once they are ready, I will begin to introduce music they are more interested in and prepare for recitals or performance. For adults, I tend to gauge their interest levels and see what they want to accomplish through their lessons. My studio of aspiring musicians of all ages strives for the motto I came up with as an alternative to the popular, yet technically impossible and anxiety-inducing Practice Makes Perfect. I am a dedicated professional singer in the DC Metro area, and I operate Hannahs Music Studio as a way to share what I have learned through my many years of music studies and performances.
