I minored in the Music Industry and performed with the Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band, co-founded a lacrosse band, and became a Brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, the National Honorary Band Fraternity. I received both a Masters and a Law Degree from Syracuse in 2002, but never stopped playing, and have been given the nickname of "The Human Jukebox" since I can recognize and perform nearly any song I have ever heard. I've discovered that a combination of jazz and modern music as well as having fun can enhance a student's development and passion for playing music. I have worked with high school students and middle school students and find it rewarding to see them grow and progress into better musicians. Hello, I am currently finishing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Saxophone performance at the University of North Texas and am a teaching fellow there instructing undergraduate saxophone majors. I was originally accepted as a multiple woodwind major there as I have played flute and clarinet on cruise ships and jazz gigs as well as flute and clarinet classical works.
