Originally from Dallas, TX, I was always interested in music but never thought of it as more than a hobby. I was a solo performer playing shows around the Dallas/Fort Worth area and in a popular Salsa band for years before I finally decided to get back into school and see where this musical journey would take me. I find that music of any genre is much easier to study if you have an understanding of the framework of what you practice. Additionally, I also have done All State Masterclasses for the TMEA trombone etudes.
