Music has been my life for so long and it is my passion! I started reading sheet music when I was 4. I started to learn Piano when I was 5. At age 7 I started learning basic Music Theory. At age 10, I began my journey with Flute and I have been playing ever since! I have played with the Arlington Community Orchestra, Flower Mound Philharmonic Orchestra, Flower Mound Flute Choir, TWU Wind Symphony, TWU Flute Choir, TWU Jazz band, TWU Pep band, and recently became a sub for the Mesquite Symphony.  Read More

In high school I had the great privilege of being selected as the Principal clarinetist in the Minnesota All-State Band. We performed at the summer camp designed for these groups and recreated our performance at Orchestra Hall, home of the Minnesota Orchestra, the following spring. Clarinet is my primary instrument and first love. I also teach saxophone and beginning flute and hope to add other woodwinds in the future. Once the student has advanced to where I can see that they have a good grasp of the fundamentals of the instrument, that is typically when I begin to introduce solo repertoire and supplement with my own material. I have been honored to teach and also prepare several students in my life. Some of them are today accomplished musicians, others are yet in music schools. For example I have 3 students already in Berklee and another student is in Juliard, NY. Other students, are non musicians wanting to learn saxophone and music. My music library is expanding and becoming more diverse so that I give work solos with all of my students.
