I really love teaching because my mother is a piano teacher. I saw her teaching since I was very young. My mom is a very passionate teacher and her lesson was never boring. I can see the excitement from both of her and her students when she was teaching. When I become a piano teacher, I hope I can become someone like my mom who is always positive, passionate and enthusiastic but still very strict. Read More

Music is deeply personal; one must get to know each student's own personality, interests, and connections to music. Early on (both in the teaching relationship and in each lesson) one must assess where the student is, as to technical and musical growth, and with the music at hand. Then one finds, models, explains and encourages the next steps the student can achieve. Clear guidance and dialogue about what will happen outside the studio (listening, practice, rehearsal, performance) helps turn the weekly cycle of lessons into an upward spiral of progress, achievement, and reward. In 2019, I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor degree in Audio Engineering and Music, studying the other half of music that people often find confusing. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons during my summers off over a decade ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 5 years. Encouraging regular consistent daily practice is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I earned her Bachelor's degree at Adelphi University, where I studied exclusively with acclaimed concert and recording artist David Bradshaw. I also studied with Laurie Ticehurst-Poole at the Bryn Mawr Conservatory from 1996 to 2005, where I participated in master classes. I have performed in recitals at Carnegie Hall's Weill Concert Hall, and I participated in an international piano festival. Read More

From the first lesson, its essential to develop the pupils ability to feel the expressiveness of music with his gradually developing. The basis of teaching piano to beginners is the education of the pupils artistic thought together with his emotional response to musical expressions.
