I attended Indiana University where I got a Bachelor of Music in piano performance, and Manhattan School of Music where I got a Master of Music in piano performance. I've performed internationally in places like South Africa and Mexico, and all around the United States and northeast region. My student shared his positive experience with his friends and his family was impressed by how well he responded to weekly lessons. I gained several more students over the years and started teaching private clarinet lessons as well. I like to use relevant recordings to play along with as well as simply recording the student and playing it back during the lesson. My teaching experience really started With the DC Youth Orchestra Program as a cellist. Assisting the cello teaches with summer sessions. I also assisted at NC A T State University Orchestra. I mentored student teachers with string ensemble. Currently, I am Assistant to the Minister of Music at The Greater First Baptist Church of Washington DC. I teach music at extracurricular programs in many elementary and pre schools across the Northern Virginia and Maryland area. I also teach piano and guitar in my home studio in Fairfax.
