For my piano students, I prefer Alfred's piano curriculum. For my guitar students, I use Hal Leanord books. For my voice students, we work on whatever songs they want to learn or have assigned to them for a performance. For flute, I like Rubank method, but am open to other preferred methods as well. I started teaching lessons when I was 18 at a music business and taught there between 3 to 5 hours a week for about 5 years. For the past 5 years I have been teaching at IU. I have taught many different styles from classical to jazz to rock, etc. and have also watched many great teachers and tried to learn from their methods. Hello! I just graduated from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Vocal Performance. I have been in over 60 productions in my life, including concerts, operas, operettas, musical theatre performances, and talent shows.
