I am oriented to my students. I always try to start with their expectations and gradually add my advice to that, so that our lessons are your comfort zone where you feel safe and honest. Having conversations, getting to know each other are also an important part of our lessons to build trust with each other that eventually makes the musical process easier, better and more effective. Cant wait to see your progress and plan next steps accordingly. Read More

My first teaching experiences were with my father during solo and ensemble. Having hired me as an accompanist for his students, I found myself rehearsing these students moreso than accompanying them. From that point I felt encouraged to teach and help others perfect their craft. My biggest influences would have to be my past teachers, one of which taught me younger and the other as I matured. Just a couple of methods I use below: Bastien Piano Series Suzuki Method Maia Bang Techniques Hrmaly I am not officially set to one method and am pretty flexible towards the students wants and needs. Keeping my students engaged is of utmost importance. Read More

For students that are just starting, I love using Bastien Piano Basic books and Alfred's Basic Piano library! These both have great selections and have all different levels to meet the student's needs. After the student moves out of these basic piano books, we can start working on learning songs and developing some solo pieces for their repertoire. For adults that are learning piano, I leave a lot up to the student because most of the time they already have something in mind that they would like to learn or work their way up to learning a particular piece. Along with a colorful musical career, I also gained experiences in teaching Humanities at Baguio Colleges Foundation in the Philippines. Read More
