Different students have different levels of perception or assimilation. This i establish before i even start the introductory class proper. Then i go through the fundamentals with the student, and observe their progress along the way. He played in his schools string orchestra, the Conejo Youth Symphony, and was awarded the opportunity to perform at the Music Teacher's Association convention in Sacramento.
