My 16 years of classical training helped me attain a teaching position at the Yamaha School of Music in the Philippines and a rewarding teaching career at the Florida Conservatory of Music in Jacksonville, Florida. My style involves around having a "recital" piece that we work on at all times, as well as technical exercises and different games to increase music theory, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, etc. We set goals and work to accomplish them in a timely manner.
