I have been teaching Piano for more than 7 years now. I have work with students as young as six years and as old as eighty-nine. I enjoy working with people of every level, I am passionate about teaching and helping others enjoy music. I started teaching piano back in my home country, Honduras, in the Escuela de Musica Victoriano Lopez. I just recently graduated from the University of Alabama in early May with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance. I have been studying piano for almost twelve years. During my time as an undergraduate, I performed in recitals, taught private lessons to students, and accompanied for vocalists and instrumentalists. From there, I went on to a university and continued to teach guitar, bass, and voice while I finished up on getting my performance degree. For beginning students, I use the first Essential Element book to introduce the first instrument and theory concepts. Once students have progressed past this book, I use the Tune a Day series along with the accompanying scale book. This book introduces students to solo and duet pieces worthy of a recital performance. Once they have reached the third book and are progressing through etudes, students begin working on individual solo repertoire pieces. Read More

I began teaching privately in 1999 when i started music school at the university of alabama. I then moved to Miami in 2006where i taught through the school of music.
