I have more than 20 years experience in playing both solo and ensemble performances and 13 years experience in teaching violin, viola and piano. Igraduated from the Master of Music program in 2015. I was the recipient of the Scholarship at Southeastern Louisiana University Scholarship in U.S. I was playing with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, and others, the Gulf Coast, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestras. I believe every person learns differently and thrives off of positive reinforcement, which is why I base my curriculum solely on who I'm currently working with. Every student I work with has their own specific curriculum. Every week I'll have an assignment for the student to practice that will be expected to be completed. I began teaching about five years ago. I mostly have taught younger students, and I love to watch them learn and develop a passion for music. I like to look for fun ways to keep students motivated. I like to use lots of humor while I teach because I think learning should be fun, and music is an amazing art. Ever since a child, I've loved learning, music and sharing my passions! Through grade school I grew into the role of a leader and a musical/visual artist. In 2018 I graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education with a minor in Spanish.
