I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Pedagogy and have been teaching ever since. I am an active member of the Richardson Music Teachers Association, which affords many musical opportunities for my students. I typically begin my young students in the Suzuki Method for Flute, inwhich I have received the training for this method. For older students, I begin them in the Trvor Wye Method for Beginning Flute Students. I supplement both these methods with solos appropriate for their level and goals, such as UIL and other competitions.
