Rodolfo is founder of the No Strings Attached Chamber Music Society and chairman of the Ohio Hispanic Fine Arts Association. This organization promotes Latino arts in Ohio. For younger students, I typically start teaching from Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, as it provides a comprehensive method for learning the basics on the saxophne. Once my students have mastered this material, I begin to introduce solo repertoire. For older students, I teach from etude books such as Selected Studies for Saxophone by H. Voxman or Jazz Conception by Jim Snidero. In addition to learning from etudes, students will develop their solo repertoire. Read More

For intermediate students I want to really forcus on text painting and understanding the words. Also we will continue building on basic skills learned as a beginning student.
