I believe that a set of expectations on the student is required to keep them motivated, but I am never upset or disappointed if they don't practice enough. I settled on clarinet as my primary in 2004 and have picked up saxophone, flute, and guitar since then. I went on to earn a bachelor of music degree from Baldwin Wallace University in 1978. I've also earned a teaching certificate for music K-12, through Cleveland State University in 1993.
