Drum set and marching percussion have been my passion since 2008. Through these instruments I've had the opportunity to meet hundreds of musicians from all over the US as well as travel much of the country. Performing everywhere from State Fair bandstands, to stadiums, to coffee shops, I've found there's always something new to see and someone new to meet. I have been teaching privately for the past 7 years and absolutely love it! I love helping my students achieve their goals weather that be concrete or abstract! I've been teaching classes and lessons at the university level for the past two years as well. I have mostly been teaching in trombone (all genres), jazz improvisation, ear training, and music theory but am comfortable teaching within many other concepts. All students have different learning styles and speeds, and some students may take longer to understand certain concepts.
