I feel that it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals and assignments for my students at each lesson. This measurable progression of accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. Of course finding out the students problem areas is also paramount to helping them progress at the fastest rate possible. I also believe that while our relationship is professional, I do take a personal interest in each of my students as some of the best teachers I have ever had, took a personal interest in me. I am into my senior year in college as a music major and I’m looking to work with as many talented musicians as I can. I also have a small independent record label called Forever Records Inc. I also am available to do music videos for all of your singles and albums projects. With that being said I also offer studio time for the same price as my lessons. Read More

For beginning students, I use the first Essential Element book to introduce the first instrument and theory concepts. Once students have progressed past this book, I use the Tune a Day series along with the accompanying scale book. This book introduces students to solo and duet pieces worthy of a recital performance. Once they have reached the third book and are progressing through etudes, students begin working on individual solo repertoire pieces. Read More
